Atos Consulting survey also finds that employee behaviour presents one of the biggest threats to business and yet the HR function in most companies is unaware of its risk management challenge.

The findings highlight the need for governance and the integration of security across the entire business in order to ensure that the additional investment does deliver value. Only 7% of respondents felt that management controls were fully integrated in their organisations.

Survey conducted by Atos Consulting, the business consulting arm of Atos Origin, jointly with the National Computing Centre.
